Basic performance of Membrane Switch

The Convenient Membrane Switch has the advantages of simple structure, beautiful appearance, good sealing, long service life (up to 1 million times or more),and is widely used in various electronic equipment controlled by microcomputers.Convenient Membrane Switches can be divided into soft and rigid types according to different substrates;according to the key type, they can be divided into two types with touch keys and without touch keys;according to the panel structure, they can be divided into two types:flat type and concave-convex type.

Convenient Membrane Switch
The structural characteristics of the Cabinet Membrane Switch determine its low working voltage (<30V), small DC current (<300mA) and no self-locking function.Cabinet Membrane Switch cannot directly control the load circuit. The membrane switch is a light touch normally open switch. Under normal circumstances, the two contacts of the switch are disconnected. When an external force is applied to the contacts of the membrane switch, the two normally open contacts are connected instantaneously.

Cabinet Membrane Switch
When the Useful Membrane Switch is used in a digital circuit, attention should be paid to overcome the jitter phenomenon. The general method is to add a delay circuit and a monostable shaping circuit in the circuit to overcome the jitter caused by the unstable state of the membrane switch at the moment of turning on and off,or connect a switch between the switch contact and the ground. 0.1uF filter capacitor to eliminate jitter.

Useful Membrane Switch
After the external force disappears, the contact of the Useful Membrane Switch returns to the normally open state,so Useful Membrane Switch cannot be used for alternate switching or interlocking; the membrane switch cannot be directly connected to the 220V circuit, and it needs to cooperate with the auxiliary circuit during use. The trigger signal controlled by the membrane switch ( Weak current) to control the auxiliary circuit, and the auxiliary circuit controls the main circuit (strong current) to realize the function of weak current controlling strong current.
